Why it works

The short one.

This is the game for when you have five minutes rather than an evening. Two words per round, one tap, no explaining yourself until the end.

Speed is the mechanic. Would you rather wants you to weigh two elaborate scenarios; this wants your instinct before your reasoning catches up, and instinct is usually the more revealing of the two.

Worth knowing

It gives you a match rate.

At the end you get the number of pairs you agreed on out of sixteen. It is a nonsense statistic and everybody wants to know it anyway.

The genuinely useful bit is the list of the ones you split on, which tends to include at least one thing that has been quietly causing friction for a year without ever being named.

Yes, and it is one of the better ones for that, as long as the driver is not the one holding the phone. Read the pairs out loud and answer at the same time.
Yes, with its own sixteen pairs about how people prefer to work rather than how they prefer to live.
