Not a personality test and not astrology. Just the everyday things two people have to agree on, answered blind and scored on the overlap.

Why it works

It asks about Tuesday, not destiny.

Most compatibility quizzes ask about love languages and attachment styles and hand back a percentage generated from nothing in particular.

This asks whether the washing up can wait, whether an argument should be settled tonight or tomorrow, and whether a free Saturday starts with a lie-in. Those are the things that actually determine whether living with someone is easy, and they are answerable.

Worth knowing

The score is the least useful part.

You will get a number out of sixteen and you will both immediately want to know it. Fine. But the number is not the output.

The output is the list underneath it of the questions you answered differently, because every one of those is a small negotiation that is currently happening by accident. Reading that list together takes two minutes and is worth more than the percentage.

✦ How to play

Three steps, and none of them is signing up.

1
Both answer blind

Sixteen questions, two options each, and neither of you sees the other until you have both chosen.

2
Get the overlap

How many of the sixteen you matched on, as a score and a percentage.

3
Read the differences

Every question you split on, listed. That list is the actual result.

Questions

Couple compatibility, answered.

No, and it does not claim to be. There is no psychology here and no scoring model. It is sixteen everyday questions and a count of how often you matched, which is honest about what it is. A low score means you disagree about the thermostat, not that you should break up.
There isn't one. Couples who agree on fifteen out of sixteen are not more successful than couples who agree on nine; they just have fewer things to negotiate. The interesting information is which ones, not how many.
Only while you play. Two names and sixteen answers, no account, deleted a few hours later. Nothing about this is retained or analysed.
Yes, and it is one of the few here worth repeating deliberately. Answers to the money and holiday questions move over a couple of years more than people expect.

The rest of it is the hard part.
