Most goal trackers fail in the same place. They record the wish and not the measure, so three weeks later there is no honest way to answer whether it is going well. Anything you can only assess by mood will eventually be assessed by mood, and mood in February is not a reliable instrument.
Free, no sign-up. Saves in your browser, downloads as a PDF or a spreadsheet, and imports into EvyOS in one click.
Four or five is a year. Twelve is a list of things you would like to be true.
The dates between now and the deadline where you find out early.
Three questions. Answering them once a month is the whole discipline.
Everything you type is saved in this browser only. Fill in a row or two and the download and import options will have something to work with.
Not "get fitter" but the number or the proof that would settle an argument about whether it happened.
A goal without one is a preference. The date is what makes the checkpoints below fall out of it.
Three checkpoints is usually enough to make the next fortnight obvious, which is all a tracker has to do.
This one asks for four things per goal: what it is, how you will know it happened, when, and where it stands right now. The middle two are the ones people skip and the only two that make the last one answerable.
Fill it in below. Nothing is sent anywhere while you type, it saves in this browser, and you can take it away as a PDF, a spreadsheet or plain text when you are done.
This page holds what you intend. It cannot tell you what you did, because nothing on it knows whether the checkpoint on the fourteenth happened, whether the habit ran for nine days or two, or which goal has quietly not moved since March. That is the honest limit of every template, printed or otherwise, and if it has never bothered you then this one is yours for free for good.
EvyOS is the same structure with the work recorded against it. Send this sheet across and the goals, checkpoints and habits arrive as real records with their dates — then progress comes from what you tick off rather than from you remembering to come back and update a slider.
Goals, projects, tasks, habits and skills in one system, with the work logged against what it belonged to.
