Why it works

Softer than a quiz, sharper than small talk.

'What I need after a bad day is' and 'I would never admit that I' are not trivia. They are the things people rarely say directly, and a sentence stem gets at them in a way a question does not, because finishing a sentence feels less like being asked.

It is the gentlest game on this shelf and reliably the one that produces the longest conversation afterwards.

Worth knowing

Predicting is where it gets interesting.

You are not only completing your own sentence, you are guessing how they completed theirs. Getting it wrong is common and not a failure. It usually means you know the version of them from three years ago very well.

Four options per stem, so it scores exactly and nobody argues about whether two phrasings meant the same thing.

✦ How to play

Three steps, and none of them is signing up.

1
One link, two seats

No accounts, and it works as well from two countries as one room.

2
Finish yours, guess theirs

Pick the ending that fits you, then the one you think they picked.

3
Compare and score

Both answers side by side, a point per correct prediction.

Questions

Finish my sentence, answered.

Who knows me better asks about preferences and habits, which is factual. This asks about feelings and self-image, which is not. They use the same mechanic and produce completely different conversations, and this one is the better second game once you have played the other.
Not really. The stems are reflective rather than difficult, and there is nothing about conflict, exes or money. It is closer to a slow conversation than a therapy session.
Yes. Twelve rounds is about ten minutes, and it pairs well after would you rather, which warms people up first.

The game is free forever.
The rest of it is the hard part.
