The NCLEX rewards applying knowledge to questions far more than rereading notes, and people who struggle have often studied content instead of practising questions. This books the date first, runs a diagnostic to find the weak areas, and builds eight weeks around daily question sets and a review of every rationale.

Log question sets and review time. Time spent reading rationales, not the number of questions answered, is what tracks with improvement.

✦ It comes with a note

Review every rationale

The NCLEX tests applying knowledge to a situation, which rereading notes does not practise. Questions do, but only when the rationale for each one is read, including the ones answered correctly for the wrong reason.

Book the date first. An open study period expands to fill whatever time it is given.

Questions

Pass the NCLEX, answered.

Many graduates plan for six to eight weeks of focused study, which is what this plan is dated to. Much longer tends to lose momentum rather than add knowledge, and the plan is easy to compress if your test date is sooner.
A set you can finish and fully review, which for many people is somewhere between 75 and 150. Reading the rationale for every question, including the ones you got right, is where the improvement comes from, so volume without review mostly measures stamina.
Yes, as soon as your Authorization to Test arrives. An open-ended study period expands to fill the time available, and a booked date is what turns eight weeks of intention into eight weeks of study.
