✦ Why it works

Prompts everybody has actually experienced.

Standard charades gives you film titles, which reward whoever has seen the most films. These are situations every person on the call has been in, so the guessing is fast and the acting is recognisable within about two seconds.

It also means nobody is disadvantaged for not having watched the right thing, which quietly matters on a mixed team.

It works over a video call.

Charades is one of the few party games that is genuinely better on camera than in a room, because everybody has a front-row seat and the gallery view makes the guessing chaotic in the right way.

One person draws a prompt on their own screen, shares nothing, and acts. Everybody else shouts. There is no scoring here on purpose.
