Careers move on a timescale that defeats attention. The decisions that matter — what you learn, who knows your work, what you say yes to — pay off eighteen months later, which is long enough that most people never connect the two and simply take whatever the next reorganisation hands them.
Free, no sign-up. Saves in your browser, downloads as a PDF or a spreadsheet, and imports into EvyOS in one click.
What somebody already in that role can do that you cannot yet.
The visible steps — a project led, a talk given, a certification, a conversation had.
Careers are made of other people's opinions of your work. This is not cynicism, it is logistics.
What you actually shipped, with the date. Fill it in as it happens, not in review week.
Everything you type is saved in this browser only. Fill in a row or two and the download and import options will have something to work with.
The role, the level, the kind of work — whatever the actual aim is, including if the aim is to leave.
Not "more experience" but the specific capabilities somebody in that role has that you do not yet.
Add to it as things ship. It is the section that pays for itself at review time.
This tracker holds four things: the role or position you are actually aiming at, the gap between that and now, the milestones that close it, and the people. The last one is the one technical people leave out and the one that most often decides the outcome.
It is built to be revisited quarterly rather than filled in once. The evidence table in particular is worth keeping up: at review time, the person who can produce a list of what they shipped is arguing from a different position than the person reconstructing the year from memory.
This page holds what you intend. It cannot tell you what you did, because nothing on it knows whether the checkpoint on the fourteenth happened, whether the habit ran for nine days or two, or which goal has quietly not moved since March. That is the honest limit of every template, printed or otherwise, and if it has never bothered you then this one is yours for free for good.
EvyOS is the same structure with the work recorded against it. Send this sheet across and the goals, checkpoints and habits arrive as real records with their dates — then progress comes from what you tick off rather than from you remembering to come back and update a slider.
Goals, projects, tasks, habits and skills in one system, with the work logged against what it belonged to.
