Days, hours, minutes and seconds until Easter Sunday.
counting to Easter
Counting to something else? Pick any date.
Easter is the hardest common date to remember, because it moves by more than a month depending on the year. This computes it properly rather than storing a list that eventually runs out.
The date is worked out in your browser from your own clock each time this page loads, so it is right in any year and reaches zero when Easter arrives where you are — not where a server happens to be.
A countdown is honest about how long is left and says nothing at all about whether the things that were supposed to happen first have happened.
EvyOS hangs the work off the date: a goal with the deadline on it, projects underneath, and the tasks that have to be finished before then — with whatever is overdue surfaced while there is still time to do something about it.
Goals with deadlines, the projects under them, and what is actually overdue.
