Six weeks until an exam sounds like a lot. It is forty-two days, of which perhaps thirty have any study in them at all, at maybe three usable hours each — so ninety hours, not six weeks, and ninety hours divided across five subjects is eighteen hours a subject. That number lands very differently, and it is the true one.

Lectures, work, travel, the days you will not study at all. All of it comes off.
Hours per topic is the number that decides what is realistic, and it is usually a shock.
If it does not fit, decide now which topics get the depth. Deciding in the last week means deciding badly.
The gap between those two framings is where most exam panics come from. People plan against the calendar, discover the real number in the last fortnight, and spend the remaining time in a state that makes studying harder.
This does the subtraction now, while there is still something to do about it.
This works something out and then forgets it. It cannot tell you whether the number moved, because it has no memory of the last time you ran it and no idea what you did in between. Every calculator on the internet has that limit, and if it has never bothered you then this one is yours for free for good.
EvyOS is the same structure with the work recorded against it. Send the result across and it becomes real goals, tasks or habits with their dates — then the next answer is computed from what actually happened rather than from what you remember typing.
Goals, projects, tasks, habits and skills in one system, with the work logged against what it belonged to.
